Eid fares from UK to Pakistan rise sharply 10–12 weeks before departure — book early to secure the best price
For Eid travel, 3–4 months is the sweet spot. Direct PIA flights fill first. Connecting routes via Dubai and Doha last slightly longer but still sell out.
Tuesday and Wednesday departures around Eid can be up to 20% cheaper than Friday and Saturday. If dates allow, mid-week flexibility saves significantly.
For group bookings of 4 or more, calling TripNext directly often unlocks fares not available online. Our team knows the Pakistan routes inside out.
Everything you need to know about Pakistan before you fly to Pakistan
Pakistan is home to the UK’s largest South Asian diaspora community. With over 1.6 million people of Pakistani heritage living in Britain, the London–Lahore, Manchester–Islamabad and Birmingham–Karachi routes are among the most travelled family routes in the world. Whether you are visiting relatives for Eid, attending a wedding, or simply reconnecting with your roots, TripNext helps you find the best fare on the airline that suits you best.
UK Pakistani families typically travel with generous baggage — gifts, clothing and goods that cannot be easily sourced abroad. PIA’s 40kg economy allowance makes it a favourite for family travel, while Emirates and Qatar Airways offer excellent service and competitive prices on the connecting routes via Dubai and Doha.
Pakistan’s major commercial centres — Karachi’s financial district, Lahore’s tech corridor and Islamabad’s diplomatic zone — attract a growing number of UK business travellers each year. Direct British Airways services from London Heathrow to Islamabad are ideal for professionals seeking a straightforward journey, while Qatar Airways via Doha offers excellent business class lounges and a reliable on-time record.
For business travellers, the key question is usually direct vs connecting. Direct flights save 4–6 hours but cost more. Qatar Airways and Emirates business class via their hubs often offers superior in-flight comfort and competitive pricing compared to direct economy when booked in advance.
Pakistan is one of the most affordable long-haul destinations from the UK when you fly with the right airline at the right time. January through March consistently offers the lowest fares of the year. Turkish Airlines via Istanbul and Air Arabia via Sharjah are typically the cheapest connecting options, often hundreds of pounds cheaper than direct services.
Mid-week departures (Tuesday to Thursday) save up to 20% versus weekend flying. Booking 8–12 weeks ahead on non-peak dates secures the best economy fares. Avoid June to August and the weeks around Eid for budget travel — demand drives prices sharply higher during these periods.
