Connecting services via Dubai, Doha, Abu Dhabi and Istanbul are widely available and often significantly cheaper on the same routes.
London to Islamabad takes approximately 7 hours 35 minutes to 8 hours 30 minutes on a direct flight. London to Lahore is around 7 hours 47 minutes direct. London to Karachi takes approximately 9 to 10 hours direct. Connecting flights via Dubai, Doha or Istanbul take 10–14 hours total depending on layover duration.
January, February and March are consistently the cheapest months to fly from the UK to Pakistan. Late September and October are also excellent value. Avoid June–August and the weeks around Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha for budget travel — high demand during these peak periods drives Pakistan flight prices up significantly.
