Can India and Pakistan Play Each Other in Asian Games 2026?

Because India and Pakistan's men's teams are both seeded directly into the quarter-finals and placed on separate sides of the knockout bracket, the two sides cannot meet before the semi-final stage at the earliest — and, depending on how the bracket plays out, a clash is most likely to happen only in a medal match (the bronze medal match or the gold medal final on 3 October).
